After your partner makes a simple raise, showing 6-9 points, you often want to invite game. A “game try” is a bid that invites game and shares some information about your hand so your partner can decide whether or not to bid game.
There are three different types of game tries: help suit, long suit, and short suit. In this presentation from Tony Jackson, he will show you examples of all three so you and your partner can determine which is the best method for you.
